With a playoff win on the line, Cloverdale rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past the Tindley Tigers 61-6. The Clovers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by 28 points or more this season.
Keshaun Taylor continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 132 yards and three scores while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. He has become a key player for Cloverdale: the team is 6-2 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise. Trey Schabel was in the mix too, providing the Clovers with three touchdowns.
Cloverdale didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Tytus Killion, Marcus Boyd, and Schabel picked up one apiece. Killion got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
