Hickory extended their winning streak to five on Friday, bumping them up to 10-1. They took down the Fort LeBoeuf Bison 34-17. With that victory, the Hornets brought their scoring average up to 26.4 points per game.
Leading Hickory to victory were Kelvin Morrison and Christian Dungee. Morrison rushed for 97 yards and three scores, while Dungee rushed for 120 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries. As for Fort LeBoeuf, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 8-4 record. They gained 174 more yards on the day, but it was Hickory that made the best use of them.
Although Fort LeBoeuf took the loss, they still got scores from Brady Black and Dominic Walters.
