The Crane Cranes's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 42-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of Compass Academy. Crane was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Compass Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Craig Chance, who scored 11 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Chance has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Liam Gahr, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds.
Crane dropped their record down to 3-18 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road. As for Compass Academy, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-15.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Stanton the next time they take the court. Compass Academy will head out to face Stanton at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, while Crane will host them at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
