They blew past Brownell Talbot 75-52. 75 seems to be a good number for Parkview Christian as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Terance Pittman was his usual excellent self, scoring 30 points. That makes it 13 consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Parkview Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tairren Scott, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Brownell Talbot lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being John Schinzel, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Simon Lim, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Parkview Christian's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-5. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 35.2 points. As for Brownell Talbot, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parkview Christian will take on Heartland Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Parkview Christian is facing Heartland Christian at the right time seeing as Heartland Christian is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Brownell Talbot, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Boys Town at 3:00 p.m. on February 3rd. Boys Town presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Brownell Talbot in Nebraska (Boys Town is ranked 82nd, while Brownell Talbot is ranked 235th).
