The John Glenn Little Muskies gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Tuscarawas Valley and snuck past 45-42. This was payback for John Glenn, who suffered a 58-47 loss the last time these two teams met.
John Glenn got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Caleb Larrick out in front who scored 12 points along with 8 rebounds. CJ Dolan was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
John Glenn's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Tuscarawas Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. John Glenn will challenge New Lexington at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Tuscarawas Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Minerva at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
