Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles  on Friday. Fredericksburg Christian took  a  14-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of The Covenant. Fredericksburg Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as The Covenant apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in March of 2019.
  Evan Davis and  Matthew Blalock did some serious damage despite the final result:  Davis  scored a  run while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances, while  Blalock  scored a  run while going 2-for-4. Blalock also  brought in an  RBI, marking his first of the season.
Fredericksburg Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fredericksburg Christian will take on Hampton Roads Academy at 3:30  p.m.  on Monday. Fredericksburg Christian has given up an average of 11.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for The Covenant, they will host Christchurch School  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
