The Westover Patriots are taking a road trip to  take on the Peach County Trojans  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Westover has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the  game with six straight  defeats, while Peach County will come in with seven straight  wins.

  Shaniyah Gibson made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out ten over six innings pitched. The dominant performance gave her a new career- in  strikeouts. Gibson was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with a  home run, two  runs, and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Taleyah Marable, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
 Westover's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Peach County, their win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 15-2.
