Brunswick Academy has gone a perfect 10-0 against Fuqua recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Vikings will head out to face off against the Falcons at 4:30 p.m. Brunswick Academy's pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so Fuqua's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Brunswick Academy's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Varsity Opponent as they made off with a 17-0 win. Considering the Vikings have won eight matchups by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Aubrey Lynn Corum and Olivia Ann Evans made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Corum struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Evans pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. At the plate, Corum scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3, while Evans scored two runs while going 1-for-3. Evans also put up a double, which was her first of the season.

Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Brunswick Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .437. However, it's not like Fuqua struggles in that department as they've averaged .356. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Brunswick Academy took their victory against Fuqua when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 9-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
