The Stratford Red Devils will be home for the holidays to greet the Amity Regional Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Last Tuesday, Stratford might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Bunnell an easy 68-47 win. Stratford has not had much luck with Bunnell recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, the matchup between Amity Regional and Lyman Hall on Tuesday hardly resembled the 8-2 effort from their previous meeting. Amity Regional blew past Lyman Hall 75-32 at home. With that win, Amity Regional brought their scoring average up to 60.5 points per game.
Dylan Spark was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Collin Tenney, who scored ten points.
Stratford's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Amity Regional, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Stratford was able to grind out a solid victory over Amity Regional in their previous meeting back in February, winning 60-50. Will Stratford repeat their success, or does Amity Regional have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
