The MaxPreps California Bowl Rankings have five new No. 1 teams this week, including three in the Northern California.
De La Salle (Concord) slid past Folsom into the No. 1 spot in the Northern California Division I rankings after a big win over Servite (Anaheim), the No. 5 team in the Southern California Division I rankings.
Clayton Valley Charter (Concord) moved past Los Gatos into first place in the NorCal Division II rankings. Los Gatos lost a close game with St. Mary's (Stockton), which entered the NorCal Division I rankings at No. 10 this week.
In Division III, St. Ignatius (San Francisco) did not play, but was able to take over the top spot from Campolindo (Moraga).
In Southern California, Mater Dei (Santa Ana) moved up to the top spot in Division I following St. John Bosco's loss to Bishop Gorman. Meanwhile in Division II, El Capitan (Lakeside) took the No. 1 position from Lompoc, which dropped to No. 3.
