After flying high against the Stratford Spartans last Tuesday, the Whites Creek Cobras came back down to earth. Whites Creek was beaten by the Eagles 61-22 on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 61 points in the game before, Whites Creek couldn't push the score so high this time.
Whites Creek's loss came despite strong showings from Jordyn Simmons and Unique Chatmon. Simmons scored eight points, while Chatmon scored six points.
Whites Creek's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6. As for East Nashville Magnet, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-3.
Whites Creek will head out on the road to take on the at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. RePublic comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 21 points in their last five games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for East Nashville Magnet, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. KIPP Nashville Collegiate comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
