Centry Lundberg made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Eva Okusi was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024. Audrinna Solorio was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
Cedar Valley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Skyline only managed four hits.
The win made it two in a row for Cedar Valley and bumps their season record up to 17-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Skyline, they dropped their record down to 11-19 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
As of now, neither Cedar Valley nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
