After four games on the road, Auburn Adventist is heading back home. They will take on the Puget Sound Adventist Sharks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Auburn Adventist suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Saturday. They were outmatched by Cascade Christian on the road and fell 85-31. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Auburn Adventist has scored all season.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Jonathan Russell, who scored three points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Russell is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was John-Andrew Dubreuil, who scored six points.
Meanwhile, Puget Sound Adventist suffered a rough 63-38 defeat at the hands of Evergreen Lutheran on Tuesday.
Auburn Adventist's loss dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Puget Sound Adventist, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
