While Huntingtown put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for McDonough. The Hurricanes were the clear victors by an 18-0 margin over the Rams. The result was nothing new for the Hurricanes, who have now won 11 matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.

McDonough's batters probably weren't too happy with Ella Webster, who pitched a no hitter and racked up nine Ks (she gave up a single walk).

At the plate, Kayla Ripple was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Racheal Howell, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

Huntingtown's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for McDonough, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-8.

Huntingtown will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Rams: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Friday.
