If Parkway South wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Lutheran, they should've done a better job of containing Eliana Sweet. The Cougars had just enough and edged out the Patriots 2-1 with plenty of help from Sweet, who had three digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Despite the loss, Parkway South had strong showings from Lily Hennekes, who had 12 digs and three assists, and Elise Marx, who had four aces.

The win made it two in a row for Lutheran and bumps their season record up to 7-12-1. As for Parkway South, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7-4.

Lutheran has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Fort Zumwalt North on the 4th. As for Parkway South, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Duchesne on the 4th.
