The Jackson Vikings have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 60-49 to Tecumseh on Friday. Jackson has struggled against the Indians recently, as their game on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Amaurion Moore, who scored 15 points. It was the first time this season that Moore scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Berkley Drummond, who scored 12 points.
Jackson has not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season. As for Tecumseh, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Adrian the next time they take the court. Jackson will head out to face the Maples at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Indians will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
