After four games on the road, Creede is heading back home. They will take on the Primero Bulldogs at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Creede focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Saturday.
Last Saturday, Creede made easy work of Antonito and carried off a 48-28 win. The win was just what Creede needed coming off of a 59-31 defeat in their prior matchup.
Will Roden continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 32 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Creede's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lyric Stecken, who scored 4 points along with 10 rebounds.
Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 18-18 at halftime, Primero was not quite Hoehne's equal in the second half on Saturday. Primero took a 38-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hoehne.
The losses dropped Creede to 1-3 and Antonito to 0-3.
