Elijah Epps Turns in Season-Best Effort
Beacon was led to victory by Elijah Epps, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Saturday. Epps rushed for 194 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 37 yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 58 yards.
Beacon pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Epps and Beacon will face off against O'Neill at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Big Game from Fox As Port Jervis Won 56-13
Dylan Fox was instrumental in extending Port Jervis's winning streak to five on Friday. Fox was unstoppable, throwing for 129 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also rushing for 52 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.
Fox might have his next game, a road matchup with Marlboro Central, circled on his calendar. Fox rushed for 200 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.1 yards per carry the last time he and the Dukes duked it out back in November of 2023.

Carroll Dolshun Goes Supernova in Port Jervis Victory
Carroll Dolshun was instrumental in extending Port Jervis's winning streak to five on Friday. New Paltz had no answer to Dolshun as he rushed for 61 yards and two touchdowns.
Unfortunately for New Paltz, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Dolshun. Dolshun rushed for 81 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Huguenots duked it out back in October of 2023.

Port Jervis Wins Fifth-Straight Thanks to Anthony Theodore
Anthony Theodore was instrumental in extending Port Jervis's winning streak to five on Friday. Theodore was dynamite, rushing for 58 yards and two touchdowns, while also catching a touchdown.
New Paltz's probably not too fond of Theodore given he always seems to get the better of them. When Theodore last faced the Huguenots back in October of 2023, he rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 43 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Jaden Jones Makes It Two for Beacon
The second Beacon player making an appearance here is Jaden Jones, and for good reason. He picked up 29 receiving yards and a touchdown.
