North Branch came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Imlay City, but Alexis Bruyere wouldn't allow it. The Imlay City Spartans took down the North Branch Broncos 55-41 on Friday thanks in part to Bruyere, who went 12-for-23 to rack up 35 points and eight steals. Imlay City is undefeated when Bruyere posts five or more steals, but 7-9 otherwise.

Another player making a difference was Savannah Douglas, who posted two points and five steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

Imlay City now has a winning record of 10-9. As for North Branch, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12.

Imlay City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 53-41 defeat against Croswell-Lexington on the 22nd. As for North Branch, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 46-25 win against Almont on the 25th.
