Vintage has gone 9-1 against American Canyon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Crushers will welcome the Wolves at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Vintage's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. Everything went their way against Napa as they made off with a 14-0 win. The Crushers haven't had any issues with the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Malina Viruet and Noelle Rofkahr made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Viruet pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Rofkahr pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, Viruet posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March. At the plate, Viruet went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run, while Rofkahr went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Abygail Sims was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Aliyah McDonald, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
Vintage kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in seven consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for American Canyon, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Justin-Siena with a sharp 22-4 win on Friday. With that victory, the Wolves brought their scoring average up to 6.9 runs per game.
Jayden De Los Santos and Madison Del Castillo did most of the damage at the plate: De Los Santos went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Del Castillo got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that De Los Santos has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jazlene Flores, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
American Canyon is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Vintage, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-6.
American Canyon's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Wednesday. Vintage has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.3 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for American Canyon, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.6 strikeouts. Will Vintage keep running through batters, or will the Wolves buck the trend?
