After soaring high against Bangor last Friday, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Edward Little suffered a grim 13-41 defeat to Oxford Hills/Buckfield. The state rankings had actually given Edward Little a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
The defeat dropped Edward Little's record to 1-2. The victory bumped Oxford Hills/Buckfield's record up to 2-0.
Next week Edward Little take on Windham at 7:00 PM. As for Oxford Hills/Buckfield, they will face off against Sanford.
