There's no place like home for the Leuzinger Olympians, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 54-43 victory over Inglewood on Wednesday. That's another feather in the cap for Leuzinger, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Joshua Garland continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points. Malachi Knight was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Leuzinger's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for Inglewood, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Leuzinger will head out on the road to challenge Beverly Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Beverly Hills is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games. As for Inglewood, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Hawthorne at 7:00 p.m. Hawthorne will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 1039th, while Inglewood is ranked 431st).
