Vudrico Roberson Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Haltom got the W thanks in part to Vudrico Roberson playing the best football he has all season. Roberson rushed for 394 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 14.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 94-yard run.
The victory (which was Haltom's third in a row) raised their record to 4-3. Roberson and Haltom will look to defend their home field on Friday against Bowie.

Larry Nichols Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Bowie was led to victory by Larry Nichols, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Nichols rushed for 215 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also threw for 150 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 79-yard run.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Bowie, bringing their record for this year to 4-3. Nichols' next match is against Haltom on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Kelton Barney Turns in Another Game with at Least 106 Rushing Yards
On Friday, Lamar got the W thanks in part to Kelton Barney playing the best football he has all season. Barney's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 106 rushing yards.
The win snapped Lamar's losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-5 record. Barney and Lamar are taking a road trip to face off against Arlington on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Keenan Jackson Leads Haltom over Martin
Keenan Jackson produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Haltom to the win on Friday. Jackson's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 133 rushing yards. He also punched in three rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Haltom is 3-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.
This year, Jackson has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 124.4 rushing yards per game.

Smith's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 112 rushing yards. Grand Prairie is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. Smith and Grand Prairie will head out on the road to challenge Sam Houston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
