Chapel Hill's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Braden Buchanan, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds. The game was Buchanan's 14th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Cayden Martinez, who scored 12 points.
Gunter's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Chapel Hill, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-1.
