The Buckeye Bucks will be playing at home against the Lutheran West Longhorns at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Buckeye is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home dating back to last season.
Buckeye's game on Monday was all tied up 15-15 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell to Garfield Community Learning Center 36-30.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Molly Danilovic, who scored five points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Kwynn Czerwony was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Meanwhile, Lutheran West can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Saturday. They blew past Andrews Osborne Academy 54-20 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Lutheran West sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Buckeye's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Lutheran West, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.
