Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Colton-Pierrepont to victory, but perhaps none more so than Eric Friedel, who almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine rebounds. Friedel is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Nate Smith was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
St. Regis Falls' defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Colton-Pierrepont, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season.
St. Regis Falls will head out on the road to face off against St. Lawrence Central at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Colton-Pierrepont, they and Tupper Lake will face off at 7:15 p.m. on February 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Tupper Lake knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 11 matches -- so hopefully Colton-Pierrepont likes a good challenge.
