While Pickering didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 48-38 win over the Hicks Pirates on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Red Devils sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Pickering's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1. As for Hicks, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pickering won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Singer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Singer will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Pickering surely won't give up without a fight. Hicks will take on Glenmora in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on December 16th at.
