Clifton hadn't done well against McGregor recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Clifton Cubs came out on top against the McGregor Bulldogs by a score of 64-53. Winning may never get old, but the Cubs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Clifton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ray Ochoa led the charge by putting up 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Rogers, who posted 11 points.

Clifton is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points per game. As for McGregor, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-17.

Clifton will take on Harmony School of Innovation at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McGregor, they will square off against Troy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
