Even though The Mosley Dolphins have not done well against the Niceville Eagles recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Mosley slipped by Niceville 29-28. The win made it back-to-back wins for Mosley.
Sammy Freitas was his usual excellent self, throwing for 357 yards and four touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Massey, who picked up 108 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Uriah West and Dj Robinson certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. West rushed for 93 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, while Robinson rushed for 117 yards and a touchdown. Alante Reese made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Mosley has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Niceville, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-2.
Mosley will head out on the road to face off against Choctawhatchee at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Choctawhatchee will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Niceville will take on Navarre at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Navarre is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.
