If Sunny Hills was riding high  fresh off their  3-0 takedown of Cypress on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lancers fell just short of the Canyon Comanches by a score of  3-2 on Tuesday. The Lancers' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.
 Sunny Hills started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 21-25, 25-23, 25-14,  15-12.
 Reagan Williams paced Sunny Hills' offense, picking up 19 kills. Williams got some help from  Sue Kang and her 31 assists.  Bella George controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Sunny Hills' loss dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Canyon, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-14 record  this season.
 After both having extra time off, Sunny Hills and Orange Lutheran will shake off the rust and duke it out  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Canyon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
