Curtis Tucker Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Antioch's Curtis Tucker, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Tucker rushed for 168 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (103.1). He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made four total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Unfortunately for Freedom, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Tucker. When Tucker last faced the Falcons back in October of 2023, he rushed for 133 yards while picking up 8.3 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown.

Liberty is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Robertson's next match is against Pittsburg on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

The second Liberty player making an appearance here is Jaxon Bell, and for good reason. He picked up 88 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 115 yards on only 14 carries. His longest reception was for an impressive 60 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per catch total.
Bell and Liberty are taking a road trip to square off against Pittsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last time Bell took on the Pirates, he rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
