For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Fabens and Mountain View meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Wildcats never let the Lobos get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

Javier Hernandez and Dylan Escobar did most of the damage at the plate: Hernandez went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs, while Escobar went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Hernandez is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games he's played.

Fabens hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mountain View struck out 12 times.

Fabens now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Mountain View, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-12-1.

Fabens didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-4 defeat against Clint on the 14th. As for Mountain View, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 4-2 victory against San Elizario on the 14th.
