While losing is never fun, Cedar Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings  (they are ranked 75th, while Salem Hills is ranked 14th).
 The  victory  got Maple Mountain back to even at 5-5. As for Cedar Valley, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with that  defeat, which was their fourth straight  on the road.
 Maple Mountain beat Cedar Valley by a goal  in their previous matchup  back in March, winning  2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Maple Mountain since the  squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
