The Fisher Bunnies lost against the Fieldcrest Knights back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Fisher was dealt a 72-26 loss at the hands of Fieldcrest. Fisher has struggled against Fieldcrest recently, as their matchup on Monday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
When it comes to explaining why Fisher lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jenna Clemmons. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Clemmons is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last six games she's played.
Fisher struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Fisher's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-7. As for Fieldcrest, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.
Fisher will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Cerro Gordo/Bement at 11:00 a.m. on December 28th. Fieldcrest will be home for the holidays to greet Olympia at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
