Tellico Plains has gone 9-1 against Sequoyah recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Tellico Plains Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Sequoyah Chiefs at 6:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Tellico Plains' favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Sequoyah has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.

Last Tuesday, Tellico Plains beat Loudon 49-37.

Meanwhile, Sequoyah came up short against Lenoir City on Friday and fell 46-38. While losing is never fun, the Chiefs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 281st, while the Panthers are ranked 87th).

Sequoyah's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Tellico Plains, their victory bumped their record up to 12-10.
