Edgemont's rough 42-22 defeat to Sioux County might stick with them for a while. Edgemont has struggled against Sioux County recently, as their contest on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Edgemont still got an impressive performance from Keaton Darrow, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Sioux County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from William Skavdahl, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds. Skavdahl is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Shane Gluth, who scored seven points along with 13 rebounds.
Edgemont dropped their record down to 1-11 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Sioux County, their victory bumped their record up to 3-9.
Edgemont's road trip will continue as they head out to face Hay Springs at 8:00 p.m. on January 26th. Sioux County won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Hemingford at 11:45 a.m. on January 20th.
