Centennial has gone 9-1 against Ironwood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Coyotes will challenge the Eagles at 3:45 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Ironwood will be up against a hot Centennial squad: the team just extended their winning streak to five. The Coyotes put the hurt on Sunrise Mountain with a sharp 13-3 victory on Thursday.

Centennial got a massive performance out of Annalise Macias, who went 2-for-4 with seven RBI and one double. Those seven RBI gave Macias a new career-high. Emery Wilton also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Macias wasn't the only one making solid contact: Centennial kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 14 hits in five consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Ironwood got themselves on the board against Fairfax on Friday, but Fairfax never followed suit. They blew past the Stampede 11-0.
Alyssa Ridgley made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits over five innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Madelaine Gober was a standout: she scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Addison Monahan, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Centennial's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for Ironwood, their record is now 7-9.
Monday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Centennial hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .453. However, it's not like Ironwood struggles in that department as they've averaged .387. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Centennial might still be hurting after the 13-7 loss they got from Ironwood in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Coyotes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
