Poughkeepsie put the hurt on Carmel with a sharp 57-37 victory. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 26-5.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Red Hook, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 62-44 loss to Wallkill on Friday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Red Hook in their matchups with Wallkill: they've now lost seven in a row.
