Morgan not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 17, 2024 (when they won 72-0). They took their game with ease, bagging a 48-8 victory over the Union Cougars. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-0.

Morgan's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was George Thurston, who rushed for 54 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also picked up 54 receiving yards. Cade Randall was another key passer, throwing for 211 yards and three TDs on only 16 passes.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Morgan proved: they limited Union to a paltry 2.6 yards per carry.
