The Sacred Heart Gremlins suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Stover on the road and fell 66-12. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Sacred Heart in their matchups with Stover: they've now lost five in a row.
It was another big night for Ashlyn Pinzke, who scored 35 points along with nine rebounds and six steals for Stover. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pinzke has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Bauer, who scored 13 points.
Sacred Heart's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Stover, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Smithton the next time they take the court. Stover will host Smithton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Sacred Heart will head out to face them on Friday.
