Hillcrest was led to victory by Leah Pico, who turned in her biggest game of the season on Saturday. Pico wasn't messing around, pitching 3.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. The pitching appearance was her third straight with two or fewer hits.

Looking ahead, Pico and Hillcrest will head out to take on Ontario Christian at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Thanks in part to Pico's efforts, Hillcrest will roll in on a three-game winning streak.
