The Naples Big Green Machines will head out to face off against the Bradford Central Braves at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
As a matter of fact, Naples put up the most runs they have all season on Friday. Everything went their way against Harley Allendale Columbia as they made off with a 19-5 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Big Green Machines, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Lukas Hall and Hunter Jacoby made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Hall tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. Meanwhile, Jacoby tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. At the plate, Hall went 3-for-5 with four runs, one double, and one RBI, while Jacoby got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Those three hits gave Hall a new career-high.
In other batting news, Rowan Biggs was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Ollie Bruen was another key player, going 2-for-5 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base.
Naples always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .532. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Bradford Central got the win against South Seneca on Sunday by a conclusive 13-3. The Braves haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Bradford Central picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Naples, their record now sits at 9-7.
Everything went Naples' way against Bradford Central in their previous matchup on Wednesday, as Naples made off with a 10-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Big Green Machines since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
