The Bryant Hornets had already won 19 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.3 points), and they went ahead and made it 20 on Tuesday. They walked away with a 64-53 victory over North Little Rock. That's another feather in the cap for Bryant, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Kellen Robinson, who scored 33 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Bryant's points. Another player making a difference was Rj Young, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Bryant's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-2. As for North Little Rock, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bryant will face off against Conway at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Conway has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 16. As for North Little Rock, they will head out on the road to challenge Cabot at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cabot will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arkansas Rankings (they are ranked 51st, while North Little Rock is ranked fifth).
