This season hasn't been kind to the Louise Hornets, who are still winless after their 17th contest. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 55-33 walloping at the hands of Bloomington on Tuesday. Louise lost against Bloomington in their previous head to head back in February of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 47-44 score last time.
Sean Darby was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds for Bloomington. The contest was Darby's 11th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Victor Reyes, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Louise bumped their record down to 0-17 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bloomington, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-5.
Louise will look to defend their home court on Friday against Shiner at 7:15 p.m. As for Bloomington, they will head out on the road to face off against Ganado at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Ganado is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
