Woods Cross gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Green Canyon Wolves as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Woods Cross won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-19, 25-20.

Green Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Woods Cross is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Syracuse at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Green Canyon, they will square off against Orem at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
