The Spring Creek Spartans blew past the Sparks Railroaders 19-1 on Saturday. Considering the Spartans have won four matches by more than 14 runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Karli Nichols made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Nichols was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI.
In other batting news, Adalynne Dolfin and Hannah Montoya did most of the damage at the plate: Dolfin got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI, while Montoya scored two runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
