St. Michael hasn't had much luck against Robertson recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Horsemen will welcome the Cardinals at 4:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as St. Michael's comes in on seven and Robertson on four.
St. Michael's lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Hope Christian, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's matchup. The Horsemen were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Huskies on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Horsemen, who have now won 15 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Nadia Cedillo made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Karolina Ruiz was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jaslene Ramirez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
St. Michael's kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Robertson never let their opponents score on Saturday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over Tularosa. The Cardinals not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since March 25th (when they won 15-2).
Tularosa's batters probably weren't too happy with Ariana Sanchez, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 15 Ks (she gave up a single walk). Those 15 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for Sanchez.
At the plate, Robertson's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Amor Allen, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Kylee Griego was another, going 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Robertson's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-9. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for St. Michael's, their victory bumped their record up to 16-1.
Robertson's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: St. Michael's hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .420. It's a different story for Robertson, though, as they've only averaged .228. Will they be able to contain St. Michael's hitters?
St. Michael's might still be hurting after the 16-4 loss they got from Robertson when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Will the Horsemen have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other softball content.
