Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Caley Napoletano stepped things up a notch to give Haddam-Killingworth the 'W'. Napoletano got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. The effort also marked the most hits (two) she has had since back in May of 2024.

Napoletano and Haddam-Killingworth will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Westbrook at 4:00 p.m. on the 21st. The Cougars are a perfect 9-0 against the Knights going back to April of 2016, a lead they'll look to extend.
