United Faith Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matches -- so hopefully Veritas Christian Academy likes a good challenge.
Even though Charlotte Catholic scored an imposing 62 points on Saturday, United Faith Christian Academy still came out on top. United Faith Christian Academy secured a 68-62 W over Charlotte Catholic.
United Faith Christian Academy relied on the efforts of Isaiah Sutherland, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds and two steals, and Bowden, who scored 22 points along with seven assists and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Deluca, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Veritas Christian Academy put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Monday. They blew past Nebo Crossing Academy, posting a 80-35 win on the road. The win was nothing new for Veritas Christian Academy as they're now sitting on six straight.
United Faith Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Veritas Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.
Everything came up roses for United Faith Christian Academy against Veritas Christian Academy when the teams last played back in January of 2023 as the squad secured a 62-24 victory. With United Faith Christian Academy ahead 34-5 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
