Deubrook had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were given a punishing 20-56 loss at the hands of Castlewood. If Deubrook were expecting payback for the 13-41 loss against Castlewood the last time the teams met, then they were shortchanged. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Deubrook off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Castlewood a 2-0 record.
Next week, Deubrook take on Arlington/Lake Preston at 7:00 PM. As for Castlewood, they will face of against Estelline/Hendricks.
